The Flag On The Mountain

THE FLAG ON THE MOUNTAIN
Rise o’ rise
Get up and run
The flag on the mountain
Is waiting for you
The sun is shining ,
The birds are chirping ,
The saint’s prophecy echoing aloud
You have to run,
You have to climb ,
The flag on the mountain
Is waving about

“The distance from the mountain
doesn’t matter at all”-
listen o’ listen , the flag’s inspiring call
The thorns on the way
The hot sand in may
But you need not give up
No matter the mountain how far away
The thorns and the sand
Justifying the flag’s glory
Your journey , your ascent ,just another story
The height of the mountain
The rugged terrain
Just to inflict a bit of pain
The flag’s sanctity is much higher
Standing dry in the rain

Climbing the mountain
And reaching the flag
Burns you within
And lets off the slag
The head bows in humility
so heavenly and pure
all the pain and pride
have got their cure

The ambition within is still alive
With a serenity of peace by its side
Now, many more flags to come
in the big journey,
each one a feather in your cap
‘ The Flag On The Mountain’-with all its highness
More than just a landmark on the map.
