Boundless I
fly to the height of the blue sky
Fearless I
dive to the core of the deep sea
Smiling
eternally with my heart content
I break all
shackles, just to be me.
I sing a
melody, straight from my soul
I love the
mountains for the echo they give
Aimless I
wander a thousand miles
Seeking
refuge in the dream I live.
I wash my
failures clean
Rubbing all
sins off the broken path
Free again I
breathe afresh
hoping to
escape thy mighty wrath
though I
know not thy bid any more
that for
long did confine my ambit in its heart
the raw soil
is now washed offshore
as the
mighty river, soulfully played its part
a detached
kite following the wind's end
a bird of passage on its way to a seasonal
abode
homeless,
yet a blissful nomad I am
seeking
refuge in the fable untold
With no time
to live
and no place
to die
the plethora
of unfulfilled wishes
no longer
makes me sigh
the shackles
I bore
shall have
imprints for a while
on the
wounded body and the soul in exile
But my
footprints thou shalt not find
on the path
beaten by umpteen feet
my fragrance
shall no longer adorn
thy
fettered, powerless entity
and though
groundless might seem my vision
and lunatic,
some of thy followers
might love
to call me there
I am content
with this petty refuge,
this ambrosial breath
and thou
need not wonder where.
